              <text>Le poète liégeois François Jacqmin (1929-1992) est l’auteur d’une œuvre qui étonne par sa densité et par sa profondeur – d’autant que, chez lui, ces deux caractéristiques prennent la forme de vers simples, limpides, lumineux. Aussi, le premier mouvement de la critique consiste-t-il à chercher, sous la simplicité, la profondeur enfouie, au point de faire du poète un penseur. Le penseur n’est pas oublié dans ce volume, qui constitue la première monographie universitaire consacrée à l’auteur du Livre de la neige, mais c’est surtout le poète qui a retenu l’attention. Ou, du moins, la pensée est-elle envisagée ici dans la nuance de sa matérialité poétique. François Jacqmin est lu dans ses poèmes.</text>
